Bespin Global received the Oracle Asia-Pacific Partner Award based on its case study of building an 'AI-Ready Data Platform' for Samsung Securities.
Bespin Global said Tuesday that it won the APAC Data Platform Breakthrough category at the '2026 Oracle Partner Awards,' held during 'Oracle AI World 2026' in Las Vegas, USA, on the 25th (local time).
The case study of Samsung Securities' data platform, built based on Oracle's Autonomous AI Database, was reflected as a key reference. The company transformed existing financial data into data assets that AI can immediately utilize while simultaneously securing security, data sovereignty, and system stability.
Samsung Securities established a foundation to expand AI operations by leveraging its existing Oracle-based data environment. Rather than merely creating a separate new AI system, it expanded the architecture to enable the utilization of previously accumulated data for AI agents and enterprise-wide AI transformation.
In the financial sector, where personal information and critical financial data are handled, controlling where data is stored and how it is utilized is important when adopting AI. Samsung Securities explained that it incorporated security and regulations not as constraints, but as core design elements for AI adoption.
Based on this platform, Samsung Securities is advancing initiatives to apply AI to internal operations. The company plans to expand the scope of data utilization and AI applications in the future.
Building on this case study, Bespin Global will support other financial institutions in building AI-Ready Data Platforms utilizing their existing data assets. The company's strategy is to gradually expand into AI agents and enterprise-wide AX (AI Transformation) thereafter.
Han Sun-ho, CAIO of Bespin Global, stated, "A critical challenge for financial companies is how to safely transform the data they have accumulated over a long period into assets that AI can utilize." He added, "We will support the expansion of AI agents and enterprise-wide AI transformation based on existing data assets."
