Actress Min Ji-young (48) shared the story of how she injured her toe while traveling in a camper van in Spain and was treated at an emergency room.
On the 26th, a video titled "The Reason I Had to Stop YouTube Filming for Three Months" was uploaded to Min Ji-young's YouTube channel.
In the video, Min Ji-young stated that she injured her fourth toe on the right foot while traveling in a camper van in Spain. She said, "I slammed my toe hard against the wooden frame of the camper van door. The pain was so intense that I immediately thought, 'My toe is broken.'"
She continued, "Since it wasn't Korea and I doubted whether I could receive medical insurance benefits even if I went to a hospital, I assumed it was just a bruise and tried to endure it. However, after three weeks, my toe remained swollen, so I finally went to the hospital."

Examination results showed no fracture or hairline break, but there was inflammation between the joints of her toe. Medical staff advised reducing movement and resting for five weeks until the inflammation subsided. Min Ji-young explained that walking remained difficult afterward, leading her to cancel her travels for three months.
Min Ji-young stated, "As a tourist without medical insurance, I had no choice but to use the emergency room. After registration, I underwent an X-ray and its interpretation, and the hospital bill exceeded 600,000 won. Fortunately, I was covered by travel insurance, so I received compensation of about 400,000 won."
Min Ji-young first gained recognition through her appearance on KBS 2TV's "Love and War." After marrying show host Kim Hyung-gyun in 2017, she publicly disclosed two miscarriages and her battle with thyroid cancer. Currently, she communicates with subscribers through content featuring world travels in a camper van.
