Apink alumna actress Son Na-eun (32) has revealed the reason she did not attend the wedding of her former group member Yoon Bo-mi (32).
According to entertainment industry sources on the 30th, during a post-finale interview for SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Manager Kim" held the previous day, Son Na-eun responded to questions about why she did not attend Yoon Bo-mi's wedding by saying, "At that time, filming was in its final stages, and I had other schedules."
She further stated, "As Apink is a group composed of members from their teens and twenties, whenever there is good news, we always want to offer our congratulations. As fans, my desire to support them has not changed."
She also shared her thoughts on her acting career. Son Na-eun said, "It is true that I am an idol alumnus, and it is a descriptor for which I am grateful as it made me who I am today. With that in mind, I believe working even harder is my responsibility."
She added, "When I work on a project, I check all the reactions. If there were any shortcomings, I intend to make up for them in future projects. While painful words can be hurtful, I try not to hold onto them for long."
Continuing, she expressed her aspiration: "I want to become an actress who can handle various genres. I take pride in the fact that all the characters I have portrayed so far were different. Going forward, I will approach my work with sincerity," she added.
Previously, Yoon Bo-mi held a private wedding ceremony with composer Radw on May at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Seoul's Yongsan District. At the time, Apink members Kim Nam-joo, Park Cho-rong, Oh Ha-young, and Jung Eun-ji attended, as did Hong Yu-kyung, who left the group in 2013. However, Son Na-eun did not appear, sparking curiosity among fans.
