Actress Kim Se-i revealed her recent status of working as a delivery driver after leaving the entertainment industry.
Kim Se-i made these remarks on MBN's 'Special Report World,' which aired on the 30th, saying, "I felt disillusioned with the entertainment industry around the time my mother collapsed."
Kim Se-i debuted in 2004 with the film 'Same Bed Different Dreams' and gained attention. However, due to a difficult family environment, she continued making challenging choices such as performing nude scenes, experiencing ups and downs in her acting career. She endured hard times compounded by her father's death and her mother's subarachnoid hemorrhage.
There were also conflicts with her agency. Kim Se-i revealed, "At that time, So Sok-sa (CEO) dragged me to places like karaoke bars and mistreated me. Later, I worked as a travel guide in Malaysia but returned to Korea due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic."

He said, "I had difficult moments, but it seems I endured and lived more diligently because I had children (pets) that I needed to take care of. This became a motivation for me to work hard. It is the driving force of my life."
Recently, Kim Se-i, who is preparing to return to acting, faced another difficulty after being involved in a hit-and-run accident. She revealed, "I injured my entire arm and suffered severe abrasions all over my body," adding, "If there are injuries, there will inevitably be limitations on the roles I can take."
However, she expressed her ambitions: "I want to live diligently so that I can properly care for these large family members I have now and take full responsibility until the end. With strengthened mental resilience and a healthier body, I want to work hard on various roles and meet viewers."
