
Actor Kwak Si-yang (39) and actress Yu Ji-ae, formerly of the group Lovelyz (33), are set to marry in November.
On the 3rd, a representative of Kwak Si-yang's agency, 9Ato Entertainment, told MoneyToday that "Kwak Si-yang and Yu Ji-ae will marry on November 28."
The couple, who are six years apart in age, met naturally at the same hair and makeup shop and developed into a romantic relationship. After dating for about a year, they will hold their wedding ceremony at a hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, inviting close family members from both sides and acquaintances. They announced their marriage directly without prior dating rumors, surprising their fans.
Kwak Si-yang debuted in 2014 with the film "Night Flight" and has appeared in films such as "Witness," and dramas including "Oh My Ghostess," "Alice," "Chaebol Detective," and "Good Partner." He will also appear in the KBS2 weekend drama "Love Other Than You," which premieres on the 12th.
Yu Ji-ae debuted with the group Lovelyz in 2014 and received much love for songs like "Ah-Choo" and "Destiny." After her contract with Lovelyz ended in November 2021, she transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas such as "Escape of the Seven," "The Third Marriage," web drama "Office Cooking," short-form drama "Doctor K," and the film "Windmill."
