Actress Kim Hye-eun revealed an anecdote from the time she was married, stating that for about 10 years after her marriage, she could not properly express her dislike to her in-laws, and that her sister-in-law had suffered because of her at the time.
On the 16th, a video was released on the YouTube channel "Kim Hye-eun Just Do It!" featuring Kim Hye-eun visiting an art exhibition with her youngest brother-in-law, Lee Sang-yoon, and engaging in conversation.
In the video, Kim Hye-eun recalled her early days of marriage, saying, "Back then, for about 10 years, I could hardly say 'No' to my in-laws. My husband always said 'Yes' to everything, so I wondered if it wasn't difficult for his sister-in-law."
At this, the youngest sister-in-law replied, "It was hard. My brother-in-law tends to stir up too much trouble," leaving Kim Hye-eun flustered.
When Kim Hye-eun asked, "What did I do?" her youngest sister-in-law brought up the so-called "Bindaetteok incident."
He recalled, saying, "I don't know what 'bindaetteok hell' is," adding, "We made the batter because we decided to make bindaetteok, but since it was too thin, we added more ingredients, and when it became too thick, we added water again, so the batter kept growing endlessly."
He added, "My brother left in the middle of making bindaetteok because he had a filming session," and lamented, "I was frying bindaetteok nonstop by myself, but it never seemed to end."
Hearing this, Kim Hye-eun said, "Goodness, they left without finishing the job," expressing her apology. She continued, "If I hadn't asked about this, we would have been in big trouble. They might have taken it with them until they died. Who knows if your injustice would have gone unnoticed forever?" Her remark that "it was a good thing you did YouTube" drew laughter.
Kim Hye-eun said, "Since our values are similar, we can have these conversations. I am grateful just for the fact that we can talk," expressing her gratitude to Dongseo.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-eun began her broadcasting career as an announcer at Cheongju MBC in 1997 and later worked as a weather caster for MBC's "Newsdesk." She then transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas and films, and gained attention in the 2012 film "War of the Arrogant: The Rise of the Bad Guys" for her role as Nightclub Yeo (President).
Kim Hye-eun married dentist Kim In-soo in 2001 and has a daughter.
