Actress Jung Si-a recalled her time at the cookery house.
On the 25th, a video titled "Why I Stopped Going to the Cookery House... Jung Si-a Reveals Her 20-Year Best Friend After Her Car Brakes Failed" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Jung Si-a's Asijeong'.
That day, Jung Si-a appeared on YouTube with a friend and colleague, Han Song-i, who had served as her stylist for over 20 years since 2006. The two met at an outdoor restaurant where they grilled meat at a table.
Jung Si-a introduced her close friend by saying, "We met through my husband while watching horror movies. She styled me even when I was dating Oppa (Baek Do-bin)."
Han mentioned that she and Jung Si-a were also fellow trainees at the cookery house, recalling their connection. She said, "It was fun at the cookery house. We were part of the VIP section, and there were exactly four children there—only four visible through the glass window. I remember it so vividly because it was such a shock."
She continued, "One child was foreign, and one was Jung Si-a's daughter, so she had large eyes. Another looked exactly like Yang Hyun-suk (Yang Hyun-suk's son). But my own daughter was too ugly back then. There isn't even a single photo of her. I feel truly sorry to my daughter; she looks beautiful now." Her words drew attention.
In response, Jung Si-a said, "The cookery house was like heaven for me. If you were locked inside, they would cook for you and do your laundry. But this friend found it frustrating."
Next, a photo of Jung Si-a's daughter, Baek Seo-woo-yang, from her newborn days was shown on screen. From infancy, the girl had striking features that closely resembled her mother, immediately capturing attention.
The cookery house used by Jung Si-a and Yang Hyun-suk was located in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, and is now closed. As of 2014, a two-week stay cost 10.5 million won, offering ultra-luxury services.
Born in 1981, Jung Si-a made her debut in 1999 through the KBS drama 'School 2'. She met Baek Do-bin, son of actor Baek Yoon-sik, while filming the movie 'Murder Camp', and they married in 2009. The couple has one son and one daughter.
