Kim Seul-ki, who appeared as Ok-soon in Season 10 of "I Am Solo," is less than a month away from her wedding after remarrying Yoo Hyun-cheol, a former contestant on "Divorce Singles." She drew concern by revealing photos of her bruised eye and directly explained the reason.
On the 30th of last month, Kim Seul-ki posted on her Instagram, "It's been less than a month since my wedding, but my eyes are all black and blue. People are asking if I was hit by my husband, but that's not it. I fell in the bathroom," while sharing an explanatory video.
The day before, Kim Seul-ki had revealed photos showing one side of her eye bruised purple, less than a month before her wedding, which worried fans. As a result, various speculations arose about the cause of the bruise.
Kim Seul-ki said, "My explanation(?) was delayed due to my husband's birthday + wedding preparations + taking care of the kids," and added, "Even on a second marriage, wedding preparations are incredibly difficult."
She then explained in detail how the bruise occurred.
Kim Seul-ki recounted, "On a weekend evening, my husband drank soju while I had a bottle of wine. My husband seemed tired and fell asleep on the sofa," and continued, "I went to the bathroom to wash up, but when I came to, I was sitting on the floor with my head buried in it."
She added, "When I lifted my head, blood was dripping down, and without time to be shocked, I quickly looked in the mirror and stopped the bleeding," and stated, "At the time, I thought maybe my eyebrow had been slightly torn, and since the bleeding stopped quickly, I even did a live broadcast right away."
During that live broadcast, Kim Seul-ki said she was too embarrassed to admit she had fallen and instead explained that she had cut her eyebrow with a knife. However, she revealed that the next day, her eye swelled severely and became badly bruised, which also surprised her husband.
She stated, "My husband immediately bought medicine for me, so I applied it diligently," and added, "Every time my husband goes out with me, he breaks into a cold sweat. During the holiday season, I even handed out wedding invitations with my bruised eye. And since that day, I am abstaining from alcohol. I will stop drinking now," clarifying that it was an incident caused by drinking.
Along with this, Kim Seul-ki shared a video celebrating Yoo Hyun-cheol's birthday with her children, drawing attention.
