Woo Seo-yoon (23), the daughter of former professional basketball player Woo Ji-won, who has been embroiled in plastic surgery controversy after being crowned Miss Korea, revealed that she had undergone a laminate veneer procedure.
On the 27th, an interview video with Woo Seo-yoon was posted on the official social media account of ZeroNite. ZeroNite refers to non-invasive laminate veneers that improve the shape and color of teeth while preserving natural teeth as much as possible.
In the interview, Woo Seo-yoon was asked, "What is the biggest change you have felt since starting to gain attention as Woo Seo-yoon rather than as the daughter of player Woo Ji-won?"
She replied, "When I go out with my dad, many people ask him to take photos or give autographs. Lately, some people ask only me to take photos, so I feel like I've slightly beaten my dad."
Following this, when asked if she had her own flirting method, she shyly said, "If I'm interested in someone, I can't speak properly and become a bit awkward. Being awkward is my way of flirting."
Revealing that she had undergone the ZeroNite procedure, Woo Seo-yoon said, "I believe naturalness is most important for teeth. Recently, I have had many opportunities to stand in front of cameras, and images of me smiling with my teeth showing are frequently captured, so I think it was a good decision."
When asked about goals or plans she wants to achieve in the future, she expressed her ambition by saying, "I want to become an art curator utilizing my major. Because I lived in the United States for a long time, I also want to try working as a curator on a global scale."
Woo Seo-yoon won the highest honor at the 70th Miss Korea pageant held last August. However, afterward, suspicions of plastic surgery arose, centered on online communities and social media, as footage of Woo Seo-yoon appearing on variety shows with her father in the past was resurfaced.
