At 9:09 a.m., the KOSPI index traded at 7,010.72, up 56.2 points (0.81%) from the previous day. During the early trading session, the index moved within a range of a high of 7,012.15 (+0.83%) and a low of 6,968.06 (+0.19%).
Foreign investors and institutional investors were net sellers in amounts of 71.7 billion won and 33.1 billion won, respectively, while individuals were net buyers totaling 59.4 billion won. Considering the selling volume from foreign investors and institutional investors alongside the buying volume from individuals, it is interpreted that other corporations (such as non-financial general corporations) also contributed to the buying momentum.
Samsung Electronics was trading at 269,750 won, up 0.09%. SK Hynix showed a gain of 1.51% at 1.82 million won.
