Samsung Electronics and SK hynix are rising in the early session. The rebound appears to be driven by bargain-hunting inflows following the sharp drop in both stocks on the previous day.
As of 9:13 a.m. on the 14th, Samsung Electronics was trading at 240,500 won, up 8,500 won (3.66%) from the previous day's close.
SK hynix stood at 1,478,000 won, up 35,000 won (2.43%) from the previous day.
On the previous day, Samsung Electronics and SK hynix plunged by 7.29% and 10.09%, respectively. The two stocks fell on news that Chinese memory semiconductor company Changxin Memory Technologies (CXMT) plans to release server-grade semiconductors within the year.
