A 'Everyone's AI' that everyone can use as easily as Hangul; the 5th companies selected for the presentation test (PT) will be announced on the 27th.

The 'Everyone's AI' project, which aims to create a free chatbot accessible to all citizens, is progressing rapidly. Five companies that passed the document review will conduct their presentation test (PT) on the 27th.

According to the ICT industry on the 24th, the Ministry of Science and ICT notified six participating companies of the results of the document evaluation on the 21st. Originally, among the six companies, the startup MKD was the only one eliminated during the document review.

The scoring criteria for the document evaluation are as follows: AI model and service competitiveness (40 points), GPU utilization and infrastructure operation plan (30 points), and service development plan (30 points). It was essential to present mid- to long-term plans for service enhancement, operational strategies, and contributions to the AI service ecosystem.

The remaining five companies that passed the document review are expected to conduct their presentation test (PT) on the 27th, with final results likely to be announced the following day, on the 28th.

The PT evaluation score consists of service convenience and user acquisition and retention strategies (50 points), service quality and stability (30 points), and contribution to the AI ecosystem (20 points). Additionally, a bonus of up to three points may be awarded depending on the scale of the company's matching.

The five companies participating in the presentation test are the Kakao-LG consortium, SK Telecom consortium, KT consortium, Eastsoft consortium, and Xenonida.

These companies will select one model from their proprietary AI foundation models, utilize 50% of it, and use another 30% from domestic AI models of other companies to launch chatbot services. Since the service is being built using existing large language models (LLMs) rather than developing new AI models, platform-specific optimization and service scalability are critical.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Science and ICT stated, "Following the PT evaluation by August, the final selected company will be announced, and contract signing and project execution will begin in September."
