Naver announced on the 16th that its streaming platform Chzzk will live broadcast the "2026 League of Legends World Championship (hereinafter Worlds)," to be held in the United States until November 15. Chzzk will provide both official broadcasts and "Watch Together" content featuring popular streamers.
Worlds is a global esports tournament where top-tier League of Legends teams from around the world compete. This year, four domestic teams are participating: △Gen.G, △Hanwha Life Esports, △T1, and △Dplus KIA (DK). Esports fans can watch Korean-language broadcasts on the official "LCK" channel within Chzzk, and English-language broadcasts with AI-generated Korean subtitles on the "LCK Global" channel.
The interactive viewing culture of "Watch Together" will also take place. Seven popular streamers—Wolf, Kangqui, Cube, Bang, Vicha, Oh Danming, and Untara—are expected to communicate in real time with users, adding to the excitement of the tournament.
Last year, Chzzk recorded 18.15 million cumulative viewers and 39.63 million cumulative plays for its Worlds 2025 broadcasts. The peak concurrent viewer count during the tournament was approximately 560,000. Chzzk plans to continue expanding its engagement with esports fans this year as well, based on diverse broadcast content and interactive events.
Joo Geon-beom, Naver Entertainment Leader, stated, "Chzzk provides a differentiated viewing experience that allows users to enjoy and participate in matches while stably broadcasting global esports tournaments." He added, "We will support fans in vividly enjoying the heat of this major esports festival by showcasing various content at this year's Worlds as well."
