Actor Song Jae-hee revealed that he chose a 160 million won Tesla Cybertruck as his family car for his three children.
Song introduced the new vehicle in a video titled "Our Family's Car! Honest Review of the Cybertruck," recently posted on his YouTube channel, "Song Jae-hee & Ji So-yeon's Good News."
In the video, Song said, "I like cars and wanted to share my experiences driving the Cybertruck." He added, "This is the Cybertruck BEAST model, priced at 160 million won. Honestly, it is a very good car for the price."
He highlighted the spacious storage capacity, which can accommodate strollers and child seats for his three children, as a key advantage. He also personally demonstrated the ample rear seat space, noting that even he, who stands 183 cm tall, has plenty of room.
In particular, Song cited the ISOFIX child seat anchor system as the decisive reason for choosing the Cybertruck as his family vehicle.
"Even in fairly large cars, there are usually only two ISOFIX points, but I have never seen a car with three," he explained. "The Cybertruck has one in the center, making it three in total. Families with three children, like ours, need three child seats."
He also addressed safety concerns regarding electric vehicles. Song stated, "I consider the issue of how to open the doors when power is cut off to be extremely dangerous," and personally demonstrated the manual door release mechanism for emergencies.
Meanwhile, Song married actress Ji So-yeon in 2017. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2023 after struggling with infertility, and gave birth to twin boys and girls last year.
Ji revealed on a broadcast last year that she runs an advertising agency with annual revenue of 1 billion won. She also disclosed at the time that she had gifted her husband a foreign-made sports car, sparking public interest.
