The wedding invitations of Kang Kyun-sung (45), a member of the group Noel, and actress Yoo Ha-jin (31), who are set to hold their wedding ceremony on the 30th, have been made public.
On the 28th, StarNews obtained and released the wedding invitations of Kang and Yoo. The invitations featured the phrase "our wedding day" along with a wedding photo shoot of the couple. Kang is seen holding Yoo Ha-jin's hand and smiling brightly.
The couple, who are Evangelical Christians, wrote in their invitation, "Two people met within God's love and have now formed one family," adding, "We hope you will join us at this joyful occasion to bless us."
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held on the 30th at a wedding venue in Seoul Gangnam, with invitations extended to both families' relatives and close acquaintances.
However, they are not accepting congratulatory flower baskets. The couple stated through their invitation, "We are grateful for your precious congratulations and deeply thankful for your warm hearts. We respectfully decline flower baskets."
Kang and Yoo first met nine years ago, but it is reported that they did not continue their relationship at the time due to the burden of their 14-year age gap. They later reconnected through an acquaintance's introduction after several years, began dating in February last month, and promised to marry.
Kang, who was previously known as an "icon of premarital purity," revealed that he is also maintaining premarital purity with Yoo Ha-jin, sparking attention.
On Oct. 14, Kang appeared on the MBC variety show "Radio Star" and stated, "There were times in the past when I did not properly uphold my beliefs, but this time I felt a strong desire to keep them. My fiancée shares the same thoughts as me. It is not something she is doing out of obligation because of me."
Kang debuted with Noeul in 2002 and gained great popularity with songs such as "Holding On," "Proposal," and "It Was All You." Yoo Ha-jin debuted in the 2019 MBC drama "Spring Night" and has since appeared in dramas such as "Welcome to the Show" and "Love, Death, and Other Things," as well as the play "Rental Apartment."
