Actress Song Hye-kyo (45) recently announced her new start with a new agency, and she appeared before the public alongside fellow actor Gong Yoo, heightening anticipation for their upcoming project.
On the 24th, Netflix Korea held its 10th anniversary fan event in Korea, 'Netflix Party,' at the Sangam Cultural Reserve Base in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Song Hye-kyo took the stage with Gong Yoo and Seol-hyun, who are co-starring with her in the Netflix original series "Slowly, Intensely," during the "What Next?" segment introducing upcoming titles.
Song Hye-kyo appeared wearing a black two-piece outfit with long hair. As Song Hye-kyo moved toward the stage, Gong Yoo playfully held her arm while waiting for his turn to enter. The two displayed a friendly demeanor, creating a warm atmosphere that drew attention.
Song Hye-kyo said, "In 'Slowly, Intensely,' I play the role of 'Min-ja,' a character who boldly threw herself into her work to achieve success from a young age," and added, "Please empathize with the story of a character who was fiercely dedicated at every moment toward her dreams, even in a different era."
Song Hye-kyo will meet viewers through "Slowly, Intensely," which is scheduled for release on December 11. The work depicts the growth story of people who had nothing but dreamed of brilliant success and gave their all, set against the backdrop of Korea's entertainment industry in the 1960s to 1980s, an era dominated by barbarism and violence.
Recently, Song Hye-kyo signed an exclusive contract with the newly established agency Stand. On the 23rd, Stand announced the news, stating, "It is meaningful to work with Song Hye-kyo," and adding, "We will spare no effort in providing meticulous support so that she can focus on her works and acting."
