TV personality and former webtoon artist Kian84 has once again found himself at the center of a hygiene controversy.
In Episode 671 of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone,' which aired on the 30th, a day in the life of Kian84 was revealed as he visited his hometown in Jeju to celebrate his 43rd birthday.
On that day, Kian84 enjoyed a meal outdoors with a view of the sea, eating a birthday lunch box that his mother had personally prepared for him.
As the waves grew rougher and he was moving to another spot, he dropped the container holding the squid side dish in his hand. Although the squid side dish fell on the ground, Kian84 picked it up again, placed it on top of his rice container, sat down, and continued eating.
Yuri of Hyorisu (Girls' Generation unit), who was watching from the studio, exclaimed, "Ah, on top of the rice?" before gasping, "Ah, are you going to eat it again?"
MC Jeon Hyun-moo warned Kian84 about his hygiene habits by saying, "Be careful of your appendix."
Following this, Kian84 was also seen blowing his nose into a towel and then wiping his mouth with the same towel.
When Yuri asked, "What kind of towel is that? What is its purpose?", Kian84 replied, "It's a sports towel. I use it to wipe sweat, wash my hair, wear it, and even use it as a rag or mop."
In response, Yuri asked, "Why aren't you sick? How can you not be sick?" while Jeon Hyun-moo joked, "It seems your immunity has actually gotten better," eliciting laughter.

Recently, Kian84 had been involved in a hygiene controversy due to his behavior shown on Netflix's variety show 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B2.' He drew criticism for revealing habits such as lying down without showering after sweating in a sauna and wearing the same underwear for three days.
At the time, Kian84 confessed, "When I was in the military, they kept telling me to wash up, so it's not entirely untrue that I came to dislike washing once I entered society." When Kim Yeon-kyung pointed out his hygiene habits, Kian84 said, "If you keep telling me to wash, that trauma comes back to mind. I developed a resistance because of officers like you," adding, "I will wash when I feel like it."
