PropTech-based comprehensive accommodation solution provider The Hyoosik announced on the 20th that it has secured pre-IPO funding worth 65 billion won.
TS Investment and VIP Asset Management participated in this round of investment. This included 15 billion won from existing shareholders selling their shares, bringing The Hyusik's cumulative fundraising total to 107.8 billion won.
The investment was executed through a 65 billion won project fund established by TS Investment and VIP Asset Management as co-general partners (Co-GP). TS Investment has participated as a follow-on investor in every round from Series A through this pre-IPO, demonstrating strong confidence in the company's growth.
Notably, VIP Asset Management, known as a "value investment powerhouse," contributed 20 billion won of its own funds to this project fund, marking its largest-ever investment in an unlisted company. This is interpreted as a preemptive investment in a promising startup amid the activation of inbound consumption driven by factors such as the increase in foreign tourists.
Founded in 2019, The Hyoosik is an IT comprehensive solution provider that offers one-stop services covering every aspect of the accommodation industry from A to Z. It has internalized processes ranging from data-based feasibility analysis to hotel PM (project management), space planning and construction, outsourced operations, unmanned monitoring, and IT solutions.
Its core competitiveness lies in a virtuous cycle structure that significantly reduces costs and timelines compared to individual outsourcing methods, while reinvesting data accumulated on-site into the feasibility review of future developments.
The company has conducted PM, operations, and consulting for over 300 accommodation facilities nationwide, including under its own brand "Anuk." The number of locations adopting its proprietary cloud IT solution has surpassed 1,300.
Financial performance is also showing a steep upward trajectory. Based on consolidated figures for 2025, revenue reached 181.7 billion won and operating profit hit 20.3 billion won, surging by approximately 91% and 93%, respectively, year-on-year, thereby maintaining a streak of five consecutive years of operating profits.
The Hyoosik is also expanding collaborations with global hotel chains. Following the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Marriott International in 2025, the company concluded a brand agreement for "Series by Marriott" this February and successfully launched its first domestic location, "Anuk Signature Seoul Guro," last September. It is also broadening its scope as a hotel division partner for Coreand Life Infrastructure REIT, a KOSPI-listed real estate investment trust (REIT).
Based on this fresh capital, The Hyoosik plans to aggressively expand its lineup of 3- and 4-star midscale hotels by investing up to 100 billion won through 2027. Rather than directly purchasing buildings, the company will focus on PM and operations using an "asset-light" approach, targeting key hubs such as Seoul, the metropolitan area, and Busan. The target timing for its initial public offering (IPO) is set for 2028.
Lee Dae-yeol, Director at TS Investment, stated, "The Hyusik possesses the rare capability to directly apply vast amounts of on-site data to planning and value-addition," evaluating it as a "unique offline comprehensive platform that encompasses everything from space planning to unmanned systems and centralized integrated monitoring."
Shin Hyeon-wook, co-CEO of The Hyoosik, said, "Building on the competitiveness proven in small and mid-sized hotels, we will strengthen cooperation with global chains and leap forward as a Seon Do-ha-neun (CEO) player in the 3rd- and 4-star hotel market."
