LG Electronics announced on the 18th that it has launched the 'LG PuriCare Hydro Tower Max,' a premium humidifier and air purifier that manages humidity in large spaces such as living rooms, as well as air purification, using artificial intelligence (AI).
The LG PuriCare Hydro Tower Max combines △purified water humidification technology, △space-tailored AI humidification features, and △powerful air purification performance, allowing a single unit to manage the air quality of large spaces.
The new product applies a purified water composite humidification method that heats and sterilizes water filtered through a purified water filter at 100 degrees before humidifying it using an ultrasonic method. It uses air that has passed through a purification filter, and after humidification, recovers the remaining water inside to perform automatic drying. It applies four-stage hygiene management technology: purification, sterilization, cleaning, and drying.
It also newly features space-tailored AI humidification. The AI analyzes environmental factors such as the size of the indoor space and temperature to adjust the amount of humidification and maintain optimal humidity levels. It boasts a humidification performance of up to 850cc per hour. With a 4.5L capacity stainless steel water tank, it can be used continuously for up to 18 hours on the standard medium wind setting in general humidification mode.
The air purification area is approximately 66㎡ (approximately 20 pyeong). Air quality can be checked in real time through sensors that detect indoor dust, and the humidification and air purification functions can be used simultaneously.
Design that blends with the space and convenient usability have also been enhanced. It offers three themed mood lights expressing campfires, auroras, and ripples, along with 12 general color mood lights. For sleeping, it provides a low-noise mode of 26 decibels (dB) and an automatic light-off function utilizing an illuminance sensor. Hidden wheels for mobility are applied at the bottom of the product.
The product price is 2.39 million won. Subscription customers are provided with regular professional maintenance services, including a service that completely disassembles and cleans the interior of the product in the third year of subscription.
