At its Q3 2026 earnings announcement held on Thursday, Samsung Electronics said, “Based on our differentiated performance competitiveness, HBM4 (7th-generation high-bandwidth memory) revenue increased threefold compared to the previous quarter in Q3,” adding that “HBM4 accounts for 60% of total HBM revenue.”
The company said, “Based on HBM4 sales performance, it appears that our goal of securing an HBM market share equivalent to our overall DRAM market share during the second half of this year has already been achieved in Q3.”
The company added, “Negotiations for next year’s HBM supply volumes have been completed at target price levels considering product competitiveness, and the supply is already sold out. We continue to receive requests from major customers for additional HBM supply increases.”
