The government will activate an inspection system chaired by Wi Hae (Prime Minister) to accelerate the pace of real estate supply.
Im Geun-keun, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office for Policy Coordination, said during a briefing on real estate measures on the 13th that "the core of this round of real estate measures is supply" and added, "The success or failure of these measures depends on how quickly housing can be supplied and how swiftly trust in the market can be restored through such supply."
A 'Whole-of-Government Rapid Supply Inspection Meeting' chaired by Jeong Bu-neun (Prime Minister) will be newly established. Han Seong-suk (Prime Minister) will directly monitor the rapid supply schedule and coordinate major issues to ensure smooth inter-ministerial consultations.
To support this, the Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister's Office for Policy Coordination will pre-screen key issues through a 'Housing Rapid Supply Working Meeting.' A 'Rapid Supply Innovation Team' led by the First Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and a 'Rapid Permitting Support Center' will also be operated.
The Prime Minister's Office for Policy Coordination will monitor the progress of each project from the inter-ministerial level to the field stage through a 'Housing Rapid Supply Inspection Team.' To inspect housing supply on an issue-by-issue, district-by-district, and weekly basis, a housing supply dashboard will also be installed.
Minister Im stated that "issues requiring inter-ministerial consultations will be promptly coordinated through meeting bodies chaired by the Prime Minister or Gyeong Je-bu (Prime Minister), depending on their severity."
He further added, "Close cooperation from diverse stakeholders—including the central government, public institutional investors, local governments, and financial institutional investors—is essential," and noted that "the Prime Minister's Office, relevant ministries, and institutional investors will collaborate to support rapid policy implementation across the entire government."
