Comedian Kim In-seok (46) revealed that he lent money to a famous chef 10 years ago and has yet to get it back.
On the 6th, a video featuring Kim In-seok and Yoon Seong-ho as guests was released on the YouTube channel 'Namumiki Investigation Agency'.
In the video, Kim In-seok said, "I'm here to promote my album today, but I also want to get back some of the money that was taken from me," adding, "A famous chef took about 3 million won from me."
Yoon Seong-ho chimed in, saying, "I saw him appear on home shopping."
Kim In-seok stated, "Actually, if you include interest, the amount is huge." When Mickey Kwangsu expressed curiosity, Kim In-seok mentioned the chef's name. The name was muted in the video.
After hearing the name, Mickey Kwangsu said, "I don't know who that is. He must be of Korean descent."
When asked why he borrowed money, Kim In-seok replied, "My guess is that when someone calls late at night to borrow 3 million to 4 million won, it's usually for this," while making a gesture of checking cards with his hand. This implied gambling.
Kim In-seok said he demanded repayment multiple times but did not receive the money back.
He also mentioned that they met at a broadcasting station. He recounted, "I told him that if he appeared, I would leave immediately. I had prepared to talk there, but he sensed something. He grabbed my hand and led me down the hallway. When I thought he was going to give me money, this happened," while demonstrating kneeling on the floor to recreate the situation at the time.
Kim In-seok continued, "He said, 'I hope you didn't say anything so that the recording could be completed smoothly,' and added, "You know my personality. I decided to let it go, assuming we had just had a drink."
