Yano Shiho's mother is really 73? Her 169 cm height and youthful looks draw awe

Japanese model Yano Shiho, 50, wife of mixed martial artist Choo Sung-hoon, made her mother's first-ever television appearance.

On the episode aired on the 10th of KBS2's variety program "New Product Launch: Chef's Table," daily life of Yano Shiho was revealed.

In that broadcast, Yano Shiho confirmed she turned 50 and received many congratulations.

Recently, Yano Shiho held an extravagant birthday party at a rooftop venue in Tokyo. She said, "I invited 100 friends to my birthday party," adding, "My husband couldn't come because he had work in Korea, so I covered all the expenses." She then turned to her husband and said, "Thank you," drawing a heart on her face, which drew attention.

Having debuted as a model at age 17 and worked as a top model for 33 years, Yano Shiho stated, "I am happiest now. I want to work more. For the next three to five years, I want to keep working hard and continue my career longer. Being 50 is also fun."

Next, Yano Shiho's mother, Yano Sanaye, appeared. With white hair, a bright smile, and a voice remarkably similar to her daughter's, she left the audience in awe. Upon her mother's self-introduction, Yano Shiho responded, "It feels like I'm looking at myself."

Yano Shiho's 73-year-old mother, standing at 169cm—nearly the same height as her 173cm tall daughter—and boasting a slender figure, drew admiration.

MC Boom exclaimed, "Her voice and laugh are exactly the same," expressing awe. The cast members unanimously remarked, "She looks so young. Her skin is incredibly good."

Yano Shiho explained, "My mother is 73 years old and looks very youthful. My grandmother is 100, and my mother lives with her. Since she rarely gets a chance to go out, I wanted to give her time to recharge, so I invited her to Korea." She added, "This is the first time my mother has appeared on television."

Yano Shiho married Choo Sung-hoon in 2009 and welcomed their daughter, Choo Sa-rang, in October 2011. The family previously gained widespread affection by appearing on KBS2's variety program "The Return of Superman."
