Former tennis player Lee Hyung-taik revealed the full details of an assault controversy involving taekwondo athlete Lee Dae-hoon. Lee stated that he was misunderstood as being in a fight when Lee Dae-hoon, while trying to take care of him after he had been drinking heavily, ended up falling together with him. He expressed his sense of injustice over the situation.
In the episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' No. 981 aired on the 16th, former tennis player Lee Hyung-taik appeared and showcased his wit.
Yoo Se-yoon carefully brought up past rumors to Lee Hyung-taek.
Yoo said, "There was actually an assault scandal involving Lee Hyung-taek," raising the issue of alleged assault charges linked to taekwondo athlete Lee Dae-hoon.

In response, Lee said, "I am revealing this for the first time," and explained the situation at the time.
Lee stated, "I had drunk a lot the day before. It was an incident that happened while Dae-hun was taking care of me."
At the time, it was reported that Lee Dae-hoon tried to take the intoxicated Lee Hyung-taek home, and during the process, Lee lost his balance, causing both of them to fall together.
Lee explained, "My flailing attempts to get up were mistaken for a fight scene."
He also expressed his sense of injustice regarding the absurd rumors that had spread online.
At the time, online discussions included claims that the two were having a conversation where they said they could only hit apples if they placed them on their heads, which escalated to actual kicks, and that they were subsequently taken away in an ambulance.
Lee remarked, "People wrote false articles as if they were there," expressing his frustration.
Kim Gura, who was listening, revealed that he was also aware of the rumors at the time.

Kim Gura joked, "I heard this fake news too. (Lee Hyung-taek) is so tough that I assumed he must have been beaten by Lee Dae-hoon," drawing laughter from the audience.
Lee again denied the assault allegations while commenting on Lee Dae-hoon's character.
Lee emphasized, "Dae-hun is a very kind junior, and there is a significant age difference between us. Also, martial artists do not behave like that recklessly."
Joo Jun-ho, a former judoka seated nearby, added his support by saying, "If you drink, it can lead to serious trouble."
Lee also explained why he had not actively clarified the matter until now.
Lee confessed, "It wasn't something to be proud of; it was an incident that occurred after drinking, so I didn't want to talk about it because it was embarrassing."
He then added, "The story kept growing," and said, "Later, claims emerged that they had thrown watermelons, peaches, and all sorts of fruits," which made the erupt in laughter.
