53-year-old Ko So-young shocked after getting senior discount: "I was hit by reality"

Actress Ko So-young shared an anecdote about realizing the passage of time after seeing the eligibility criteria for senior discounts at an aquarium.

On the 22nd, a video titled "Ko So-young, who thought hanbok wouldn't suit her, and what happens when she visits a folk village," was released on the YouTube channel 'Ko So-young'.

In the video, Ko So-young visited Korean Folk Village wearing a black hanbok for the holiday season. Having not visited a folk village since her middle and high school days, she presented a modern-style hanbok look by incorporating sunglasses and a fan.

After checking the adult ticket price at the ticket office, Ko So-young exclaimed, "The tickets are so expensive," expressing surprise. She then looked over the senior discount criteria for those aged 65 and older, saying, "65 is still far away," which drew laughter.

However, Ko So-young mentioned a past visit to an aquarium, revealing, "I think it was Jeju Island or some aquarium where they offered discounts starting from those born in 1972. I was hit by reality (felt bitter)."

Ko So-young, born in 1972, seemed to realize her age anew through this discount criterion, eliciting laughter.

Ko So-young is 53 years old this year and married fellow actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010; they have one son and one daughter.
