Actress Kim Se-in revealed past financial fraud and unfair treatment she suffered at the hands of So Sok-sa (CEO).
On the 9th, a video titled “Why a once-successful actress is living while doing Coupang delivery” was released on the YouTube channel ‘Into Daily Life.’
Regarding her debut, Kim Se-in said, “When I was five years old, my mother took me to a beauty pageant for children, and I stood out. From there, I started taking on small roles, and that’s how I’ve lived.” She added, “I was actively working until about 10 years ago. The work I remember most is ‘Oh My God.’”
Reflecting on her days as an unknown actress, she said, “When I first started doing small roles, my pay for a 24-hour shoot was 7,000 won. I was in middle school at the time, but that was just how it was back then.” She continued, “It was a tough period when I was working hard, and So Sok-sa (CEO) ran off with my acting fee. He asked to borrow money, so I lent him several million won from what I had on hand, but he took that money and disappeared. It was time to pay rent, but I had no money and suffered.”
In particular, Kim Se-in stated that So Sok-sa (CEO) also lured her out to a nightclub, recalling, “At the time of the Jang Ja-yeon incident, I was being treated similarly.” She said, “On the day of filming, I received a call from staff asking why I hadn’t come to set. It turned out that the previous day, So Sok-sa (CEO) had lured me out to a charcoal grill restaurant and forced me to drink, saying, ‘If you’re not going to date me, I’ll cancel all your filming.’ So when I said I had no intention of dating him, he had simply not told them that I had a shoot,” shocking listeners.
Additionally, Kim Se-in said, “The most malicious representative is one who signs a five-year contract and refuses to release you. They just tie you down so you can’t go anywhere,” causing shock.
