Actress Park Kyung-hye (33) stated that she submitted an application to move into a rental housing unit offered at a price lower than the market rate.
In a video published on the YouTube channel 'Hyeri' on the 9th, Park Kyung-hye said, "I went to the ophthalmology and otolaryngology clinics today, and since it was the day for the second round of applications for long-term vacant apartments, I submitted my application."
When Hyeri asked what a long-term vacant apartment is, Park Kyung-hye explained, "It is an apartment that has not been rented out for more than six months after the previous tenant moved out, which the government offers at a price lower than the existing market rate."
She added, "If you increase the deposit, you can lower the monthly rent," and stated, "I met the eligibility criteria, so I applied."
When Hyeri said it feels like a "housing subscription," Park Kyung-hye replied, "It is similar. I applied to places where my chances are high."
Previously, Park Kyung-hye had revealed her 6-pyeong studio apartment located in Yaksam-dong, Seoul Gangnam-gu, through MBC's 'I Live Alone' and her personal YouTube channel.
At the time, Park Kyung-hye stated, "The deposit is 50 million won, and including monthly rent, management fees, and parking fees, it totals 590,000 won," adding, "Since my budget is at that level, I looked for a place where I could live without being pressured by realistic financial burdens."
