Siva (20, real name Kim Jung-hoon), the second son of comedian Kim Ji-sun, voiced his displeasure at malicious comments and sensationalized coverage regarding himself.
On the 4th, Siva posted on social media, "Why is everyone so obsessed with wanting to devour me when I'm trying my best to live? I don't really follow news about myself, but please keep it in check, from articles to comments."
Previously, on the 2nd, Kim Ji-sun shared photos and a video on social media of her family dining out together with her husband and three sons to celebrate her eldest son's military leave. Siva was captured looking somewhat heavier than before, drawing attention.
Subsequently, articles flooded in about Siva's recent status and his past disclosure of suffering from social anxiety disorder and panic disorder. With malicious comments evaluating Siva's appearance piling on top, it appears Siva expressed his discomfort.
Siva debuted in August 2024 with the single "HAN: Cooked" and has continued music activities reflecting his own style. In October of last year, he sparked attention by appearing on actress Sun Woo-young-yeo's YouTube channel, showing off 17 piercings around his eyes, nose, and lips.
When sharp reactions emerged from some quarters, his mother Kim Ji-sun appeared on comedian Choi Yang-rak's YouTube channel in February and said, "He is an adult and wants to (get the piercings), so what's the big deal?" She added, "Videos claiming 'Kim Ji-sun has failed at raising her children' were also circulating. My son felt sorry for me after seeing them. I told him not to worry about it, but I was really angry."
