Kolon Benite is expanding its AI transformation (AX) business by leveraging its proprietary enterprise solutions that support management planning, financial disclosures, and manufacturing operations.
On the 29th, Kolon Benite announced it will strengthen its LINE suite of proprietary solutions designed to reduce repetitive corporate tasks and support data-driven decision-making.
Its flagship products include the management planning and profit/loss estimation solution 'r-PLANNA', the consolidated accounting solution 'BENIT SIGMA', the electronic disclosure solution 'DSDFlow', and the manufacturing digital transformation (DX) platform 'r-CoCoAna'. The company plans to gradually apply AI to each solution to enhance automation levels in forecasting, closing of accounts, disclosures, and manufacturing operations.
r-PLANNA, built on SAP S/4HANA, analyzes expected costs and profit/loss by scenario, incorporating variables such as exchange rates, sales prices, raw material costs, and production volumes. It reduces manual work using Excel and improves analysis reliability through its proprietary prediction engine. In validation tests with some clients, the predicted cost was found to be approximately 99% close to actual costs.
In the finance sector, BENIT SIGMA and DSDFlow support processes from consolidated accounting to electronic disclosures. BENIT SIGMA assists in preparing group consolidated financial statements by linking financial data from multiple subsidiaries, including internal transactions and equity relationships. Launched in 2009, it has been adopted by over 100 companies and supports both SAP and non-SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) environments.
DSDFlow converts financial data prepared through consolidated accounting into the format required for submission to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system (DART), while also supporting the creation and verification of disclosure documents.
The recently launched next-generation consolidated accounting solution 'BENIT SIGMA Pro' includes features compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 18. It offers a 'dual report' function that compares financial statements under existing standards and IFRS 18, as well as functionality to calculate management performance measures (MPMs) defined by executive management.
In the manufacturing sector, r-CoCoAna is used to collect and analyze data generated from equipment and production processes in real time. It integrates functions for production, quality, inventory, equipment, and energy management, applies vision AI to detect product anomalies, and optimizes production processes.
Over the past three years, Kolon Benite has conducted related projects with group manufacturing affiliates including Kolon Industries, Kolon Life Science, and Kolon Pharmaceuticals. Based on this experience, it plans to expand its 'Manufacturing DX Package'—which combines on-site diagnostics, data analysis, system implementation, and AI operations—to external clients.
A Kolon Benite representative stated, "By integrating AI technology with our deep understanding of on-site operations and proprietary development capabilities, we will support companies in responding quickly and stably to changes in regulations and industrial environments."
