Samsung Electronics Launches 'New Galaxy Book 6' in Korea… Starting at 1.19 Million Won

Samsung Electronics is releasing the 'New Galaxy Book 6', equipped with essential functions and performance for daily use, on the 1st domestically.

This follows the January launch of 'Galaxy Book 6 Ultra' and 'Galaxy Book 6 Pro', and the April release of 'Galaxy Book 6', completing the Galaxy Book 6 series lineup.

The new Galaxy Book 6 expands product options with reasonable specifications and pricing. Prices range from 1.19 million won to 1.49 million won, depending on detailed specs such as CPU (central processing unit) and operating system.

During the launch promotion period, customers purchasing through Samsung.com will receive benefits worth up to 180,000 won on products priced at 1.34 million won, effectively lowering the perceived price.

The 'New Galaxy Book 6' is available in a single 35.6cm (14-inch) size and gray color. It can be purchased at offline stores including Samsung Stores nationwide, as well as online through Samsung.com and open markets.

The 'New Galaxy Book 6' is equipped with the latest Intel® Core™ Series3 Processor, providing a stable working environment for daily tasks such as studying, assignments, and work.

It offers up to 25 hours of video playback on a single charge, ensuring all-day battery performance. It also supports fast charging, allowing up to 33% charge in just 30 minutes.

Additionally, it features a new 16:10 aspect ratio and an Anti-glare display that reduces glare and screen reflection, enabling vivid content viewing.

With its portable 35.6cm size and lightweight 1.35kg weight, the device is easy to carry even when going out.

It also supports various essential ports including two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, HDMI, and a headphone/microphone jack, allowing users to easily connect external devices without needing an additional adapter.

The 'New Galaxy Book 6' enhances daily convenience using 'Galaxy AI' features. With the 'AI Cut Out' function, users can select desired images and quickly remove unnecessary backgrounds.

It also allows real-time translation by selecting sentences or paragraphs within web pages and enables users to open links discovered during web browsing directly on their PC, facilitating convenient work.

The device includes features that connect PCs and mobile devices based on the Galaxy ecosystem. Users can share storage space with Galaxy smartphones to open files on their PC, and easily transfer files by connecting smartphones or Galaxy Tabs to the PC using drag-and-drop functionality.

To commemorate the launch of the 'New Galaxy Book 6', Samsung Electronics will operate a trial program for customers who purchase through Samsung.com until the 8th, offering benefits worth up to 180,000 won, including 100,000 Naver Pay points. Additionally, a launch promotion will continue until the 22nd, providing 50,000 Naver Pay points, a 50,000 won Olive Young gift certificate upon posting a review, and a 30,000 won Shinsegae gift certificate when using in-store pickup service.

Jung Ho-jin, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "The 'New Galaxy Book 6' is a product that delivers the Galaxy Book experience to more consumers through the newly expanded Galaxy Book 6 lineup." He added, "It offers stable performance, long-lasting battery life, seamless connectivity between Galaxy devices, and the design DNA of the Galaxy Book 6 at a reasonable price, providing continued value even after purchase."
