Intra, a startup operating an AI agent solution, will expand the scope of application for its AI work partner, "Donkey."
On the 7th, Intra announced that it has signed an API supply contract with CNTech, a foodtech platform service company. Donkey is an AI work partner that converts audio from various settings—such as meetings, consultations, medical examinations, and lectures—into text in real time, and automatically organizes key information by reflecting the context of the conversation and the user's purpose.
Donkey will be applied to customer service operations for global and domestic food franchises. It automatically transcribes phone calls with customers and analyzes the content of inquiries and the conversational context to organize and provide the essential information needed for consultations.
In addition to the customer service sector, Intra has signed an API supply contract for Donkey in the medical field for patient examinations. The company is also scheduled to unveil features this month that transcribe and summarize meetings to boost productivity for office workers, as well as features that transcribe and summarize lectures to serve as a substitute for note-taking by university students.
The effect on improving work productivity has also been confirmed through academic research. According to a paper published in the KCI-indexed journal "Journal of Entrepreneurship Research," applying Donkey to customer service operations for repeat customers resulted in a reduction of up to 90% in the number of times previous consultation recordings were re-listened to. Listening fatigue from recordings was also found to have decreased by up to 65%.
Intra explained that this reduces the cognitive and emotional burden consultants experience when reviewing previous consultation content, while increasing the speed of consultation processing and overall work efficiency.
Intra is a professor-founded startup established by Park Hyeon-gyu (Prof.) from the Graduate School of Technology Management at Sogang University. The company has planned, developed, and delivered more than 20 enterprise AI solutions, accumulating experience in field-centered AI implementation. Within 79 days of incorporation, it was selected for TIPS by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and secured approximately 1.1 billion won in research and development funding.
