KT is unveiling subscription products that combine coffee and lifestyle benefits with Google’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) services. The strategy aims to broaden customer options by bundling AI service usage with everyday consumption perks.
On the 13th, KT announced it will launch eight subscription products based on 'Google AI' in collaboration with Google.
The newly launched products consist of three standalone Google AI products and five subscription packs that bundle coffee and lifestyle benefits. Customers can select a product according to their purpose for using AI and their preferred lifestyle perks.
The standalone Google AI products include three options: △Google AI Plus (400GB), △Google AI Plus (2TB), and △Google AI Pro (5TB). Subscribers can use various generative AI features, such as document creation, information search, translation, and learning, through the Google Gemini app.
Depending on the product, cloud storage space usable in Google Photos, Google Drive, Gmail, and other services is provided ranging from 400GB to a maximum of 5TB.
KT is also launching five subscription packs that add everyday lifestyle benefits to AI services. Products combined with Mega MGC Coffee provide up to three Americanos per month.
Subscribers to Google AI Pro (5TB) can also choose a product that provides one Starbucks Americano per month. A lifestyle subscription pack has also been prepared, allowing customers to select one of five benefits: Daiso, GS25, Olive Young, Kakao Emotion Plus, and Snow (SNOW) VIP.
To commemorate the launch of the new products, KT will run an event offering Naver Pay points to new subscribers until November 30. New subscribers who sign up for one of the eight subscription products can receive Naver Pay points ranging from 2,000 won to a maximum of 10,000 won, depending on the product.
Kang Yi-hwan, CustomerSeo Bi-seu-bon (Director) (Executive Vice President) of KT’s Customer Division, said, "Generative AI is becoming an established service used across customers’ daily lives and work." He added, "We introduced these products so that customers can experience AI in a more accessible and convenient way."
