As the front lines of AI competition shift from models to infrastructure, a venue has been prepared where attendees can examine the present and future of foundational technologies that actually power AI, ranging from AI data centers to cloud, GPU/NPU, power/cooling, and security.
Money Today will host the '2026 AI Infrastructure Frontier Conference' at Hall B of COEX in Seoul on the 29th. The event, taking place within the AI Special Zone of 'Smart Energy Plus (SEP) 2026,' focuses on connecting supply-side companies that build and operate AI infrastructure with demand-side entities, including enterprises actually adopting it and CIOs/CAIOs from the financial and public sectors. The program runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.
The first speaker is Kim Eun-ju, Head of the Intelligent Technology Infrastructure Division at the National Intelligence Defense Intelligence Command Agency for Advancement (NIA). She will address 'National AI Infrastructure and Computing Policies and Industrial Directions,' outlining government policies and the direction of domestic AI computing infrastructure.
Following her, Choi Jung-jin, Head of the Evangelist Group at Samsung SDS, will take the stage. Group Head Choi will introduce cloud and computing infrastructure strategies necessary for enterprises to actually adopt AI, under the theme 'SCP AI Infrastructure: Enterprise AI Infrastructure Based on GPU/Serverless.'

Starting at 11:35 a.m., Moon Byung-gi, Head of the OT/ICS Business Group at SK Shielders, will deliver a lecture titled 'In the Age of AI, How Should We Prepare for OT Security? - From Office AI Already in Use to AI Adoption on Production Floors.' The session is expected to cover emerging security threats and response directions as IT and OT boundaries blur amid AI's expansion beyond office environments into manufacturing and production sites.
AI Infrastructure Network 'AIF' Inaugurated… Networking with Public Sector and Financial Industry CIOs/CAIOs
From noon until 2 p.m., a lunch meeting and networking session will be held, featuring key members of AIF (AI Infra Frontier) along with CIOs and CAIOs from the public sector and financial industry. This is not merely a time to listen to presentations, but an opportunity for AI infrastructure suppliers and actual demand-side entities to directly share on-site challenges and business/technology needs.
In the afternoon, another core program of the event will take place: the AIF inaugural ceremony and a special dialogue. AIF is a practical network connecting data center, cloud, GPU, server, security, power, and cooling companies with enterprises actually using AI infrastructure, financial and public institutional investors, and investment/policy stakeholders. Through member approval, scope disclosure settings, and non-public matching, it aims to go beyond simple networking to connect actual business, policy, and investment needs.
The special dialogue at the inaugural ceremony will be moderated by Yoon Seok-bin (Prof.), discussing 'Challenges in the AI Infrastructure Industry and the Role of AIF' with key AIF members. Suppliers and demand-side entities are expected to pool their expertise on issues actually encountered in the AI infrastructure field, such as GPU procurement, data center power and cooling, security, investment costs, and regulations.
