Broadcaster Cho Hye-ryeon (56) shared the secret behind losing approximately 9 kg without the help of an obesity treatment drug.
On the 14th, a video was released on Cho’s YouTube channel showing her and Park Mi-sun, who is battling breast cancer, going on an outing to Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province.
In the video, Park asked Cho, “How many kg have you lost?” When Cho replied, “I’m 53 kg now,” Park said, “Mounjaro? Wegovy?” referring to the obesity treatment drugs Mounjaro and Wegovy.
In response, Cho answered, “It’s Taebo for me,” revealing that she lost weight through Taebo, an exercise combining taekwondo and boxing, rather than medication.
Cho cited fasting after 7 p.m. as her secret to maintaining her weight. She said, “I don’t even drink water after 7 p.m.” and added, “When I wake up in the morning, I mix hot and cold water to make lukewarm water and drink it.”
When Park Mi-sun said, “I’ve never eaten that way my whole life,” Cho responded, “So that’s why you’re able to maintain your figure.”
The two also shared their usual breakfast routines. Cho revealed that she eats an apple, raw food, and a boiled egg, while Park explained that she eats two boiled eggs, half an avocado, and tomatoes with olive oil.
Cho began her weight loss journey in August of last year and has lost approximately 9 kg. She recently revealed that her waistline has shrunk to 24 inches. In the past, she also sparked a Taebo craise with videos titled “Cho Hye-ryeon’s Taebo Diet.”
