A heated debate is unfolding online over the behavior displayed by Aijing, a member of rookie girl group A2O LITE, during a group photo session.
On the 22nd, videos spread across online communities and social media claiming that Aijing pushed aside another member to secure her desired position. The controversial scene was filmed during the morning commute photo time for the radio show "Kim Shin-young's Noon Hopeful Song" held at the MBC headquarters in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 21st.
The released video shows members standing side by side on a staircase, striking group poses toward the press. Aijing, wearing a checkered outfit, posed with her hands raised above her head along with her fellow members. During this process, she was captured adjusting her position while getting so close to member Ah-Yoon, who was right next to her, that their bodies overlapped.

Some netizens raised suspicions that Aijing pushed aside another member to take a front-row position. Aijing later moved down the staircase to strike a pose. Some netizens who viewed the video reacted with comments such as, "She could have posed from below, so why does she keep trying to come up?" and "It looks like she is blocking other members to make herself stand out."
On the other hand, counterarguments emerged stating that it cannot be definitively concluded to be intentional behavior based solely on a short video. It may have been a simple position adjustment that occurred during the process of aligning poses at the scene.
Previously, Aijing also became the subject of controversy over her parents' wage arrears. On the 14th, Aijing's mother issued a statement on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, apologizing for the wage arrears issue at the business she had operated. However, she emphasized that the matter was an issue her parents should take responsibility for, and that her daughter was not involved.
Aijing, born in 2013, is a member of A2O Light, a nine-member multinational girl group that debuted on the 13th. A2O Light's debut song "Neon" reached No. 1 on Melon TOP100 at 11 p.m. on the 14th, just 29 hours after its release.
