TV personality Kim Byung-man (51) has shut down the experiential theme space he was operating on Jeju Island.
On the 21st, Kim Byung-man posted photos showing the current state of ‘Byungman Land & Workshop’ on his social media without any particular caption. The image shows an empty field remaining after all the various structures that Kim Byung-man had personally built and installed have disappeared.
When acquaintances and fans left worried comments such as “Is something wrong,” “Why is it so empty,” and “Are you perhaps leaving,” Kim Byung-man replied, “I received complaints, so I cleaned things up.” However, he did not disclose specifically what kind of complaints had been filed.
Kim Byung-man has been operating ‘Byungman Land & Workshop’ on Jeju Island since June last year. The space was planned by Kim Byung-man himself based on the experience he accumulated in various survival reality shows, including SBS’s “Law of the Jungle,” and was set up to allow visitors to enjoy a variety of experiences in nature.
In March, footage was released showing Kim Byung-man personally operating an excavator while building a structure. At the time, he expressed his affection by saying, “My touch is passing through Byungman Land & Workshop,” and “I may not have expertise, but I am satisfied with the fact that I am making it myself.”
Kim Byung-man remarried a non-celebrity woman in September last year. The couple has one son and one daughter.
