World-renowned pop star Justin Bieber has visited Korea for the first time in 13 years.
On the 23rd, Bieber posted several photos on social media (SNS) along with a short caption reading "Made it to Seoul" ("Arrived in Seoul"). The photos showed him waiting his turn at immigration at the airport and traveling around the city by car.
This is Bieber's first visit to Korea in 13 years, since his initial concert tour in 2013. He had previously participated via video in the music festival 'Weverse Con', hosted by HYBE, at the end of 2021. His wife and model, Hailey Bieber, accompanied him on this trip.
Based on Bieber's SNS post revealing photos of his visit to a pop-up store for 'SKYLRK' (Skyark), the fashion and lifestyle brand he leads, this visit is presumed to be related to Bank of Korea [Note: Source text contains "방Bank of Korea" which appears to be a typo or corruption; translated literally as per source structure].

Skyark is operating its first domestic pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, from the 22nd to the 25th. This pop-up will feature a variety of products including clothing, shoes, and sunglasses, as well as Seoul-exclusive items.
Eyewitness accounts also emerged. On this day, a video of Bieber visiting a famous samgyetang restaurant in Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, was posted on the 'Seoul Guide' SNS. Dressed in blue athletic wear, Bieber gathered his hands together and lightly greeted people who recognized him at the restaurant.
Bieber married Hailey in 2018 and welcomed their first son in 2024.
