The YouTube channel 'Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary,' operated by rapper Yang Hong-won and his family, has blocked comments due to allegations of an affair involving Yang.
As confirmed on Monday, all videos on Yang's YouTube channel 'Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary' currently have the comment function disabled. This measure was also applied simultaneously to short-form videos.
The YouTube production team stated in a video comment, "We are currently verifying the facts regarding the matter," adding, "While verification is underway, we plan to temporarily restrict comment posting to protect the participants."
Previously, Yang was embroiled in affair allegations on the 23rd, just five days after his wedding. The whistleblower, identified as A, disclosed that Yang had accompanied another woman to a motel immediately after his marriage, releasing related video footage and call recordings.
Subsequently, the woman who had accompanied him to the motel clarified via social media (SNS) on the 24th, stating, "We did not know each other at all," and adding, "Yang Hong-won slept in the bed while I slept on the floor; there was no physical contact or any improper incident."
AP Alchemy, Yang's agency, acknowledged that Yang had accompanied the woman to the motel but denied the allegations, stating, "He was heavily intoxicated, but there was no sexual activity."
Along with this, they filed a complaint against the original whistleblower on charges of extortion, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation through dissemination of false facts. The woman known to have accompanied him to the motel also filed a complaint against the whistleblower on the same charges.
Yang has been operating the YouTube channel 'Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary' with his wife Won Hyeon-ju and daughter Rhea since last May. The channel, which featured content on their love story, family psychological counseling, and raising their daughter, gained popularity by amassing a whopping 540,000 subscribers.
However, as affair allegations emerged just five days after the wedding, subscribers and netizens have expressed significant disappointment.
Meanwhile, Yang registered his marriage with model-turned Won Hyeon-ju in 2023, and their daughter was born in 2024. Following his wedding to Won on the 18th, Yang posted on his Instagram, "Hyeon-ju, I love you. I still feel like I'm entering ○○○ Motel in Cheongho-dong," which drew public controversy.
