BLACKPINK member Lisa directly apologized to fans regarding the controversy surrounding their 10th-anniversary commemorative event.
On the 14th, through a fan communication platform, Lisa stated, "It has already been a week since the 10th anniversary," and added, "As everyone knows, 'iSuga' is circulating on online platforms. I feel sad about this situation and sincerely apologize that it turned out this way."
She continued, "I cannot even imagine how sad you must have felt. I was equally upset myself," and conveyed, "It should have been a special time of celebration for all of us."
However, Lisa emphasized, "This is not to justify anything or assert my position here. I simply want to cherish the love and bond we shared together."
She then added, "I am truly grateful that everyone was able to participate together," and expressed, "I hope we can continue to hold onto the love we shared and move forward. I love you, BLINKs. Thank you for always being by our side."
Previously, on the 8th, BLACKPINK held a 'Meet & Greet' event with 40 fans at the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to commemorate their 10th anniversary since debut.
However, complaints from fans grew as the announcement was made only two days before the event, and it was initially reported that only some members would attend. Although it was later changed so that all four members would participate in the event, fans' disappointment continued.
In response, Jisoo and Rosé also directly apologized to fans. Jisoo said, "I am sorry again for causing such great disappointment," while Rosé apologized, saying, "It seems I made you feel even more lonely, and my heart feels heavy."
