Singer Kim Yong-bin's (33) Seoul concert has been cancelled.
The 2026 Kim Yong-bin concert 'Serenade' team announced via a notice on the ticketing page, "Although both the artist and event staff have prepared for the performance to honor our promise to all ticket holders, we have determined that it is difficult to guarantee a safe and smooth performance due to the current situation around the venue, leading us to make the unavoidable decision to cancel."
The team added, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who took precious time out of their busy schedules to wait for and purchase tickets for this performance."
Tickets purchased will be processed for full refunds in sequence.
The concert cancellation is a result of the prolonged blockade of polling stations across the Olympic Park area in Songpa-gu, Seoul, by protesters. The demonstrations, which began over a shortage of ballots for the the 3rd local elections, have continued for approximately three months.
As access to the venue became difficult due to the protests, Park Seo-jin, Yoo No-yunho, and SEVENTEEN Dino had previously cancelled their performances as well.
