Actor Kim Ji-hoon revealed an anecdote about choosing to major in psychology at Ajou University despite achieving a score in the top 1% nationwide on the CSAT.
On the 2nd, a video featuring guest Kim Ji-hoon was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Yoo In Radio.' During that broadcast, Yoo In mentioned Kim Ji-hoon's school days.
Yoo In asked Kim Ji-hoon, "Your IQ came out over 150, and your CSAT score was in the high 350s out of a possible 400 points?" At that moment, a subtitle appeared stating, "Top-tier performance in the top 1% nationwide based on the 2000 CSAT standards."
In response, Kim Ji-hoon recalled, "I never dropped below third place in my class during school days." He then confessed, "I truly did everything I could. In fact, it was lower than the score I had expected."
He even considered repeating a year but explained his reason for giving up: "Studying for the CSAT again was too terrible."
Earlier, Kim Ji-hoon had already revealed why he chose Ajou University's psychology department despite his high CSAT scores. Appearing on tvN's 'Brainy Era - Problematic Men' in 2018, he said, "When I was entering university, I saw Ajou University's scholarship program and decided to attend the school."
During that broadcast, Kim Ji-hoon explained, "The school had an extraordinary scholarship program that provided full tuition and dormitory fees for four years to students who ranked in the top 3% on the CSAT. I enrolled specifically to receive this scholarship benefit."
