The energy and mobility technology event Daejeon 'Smart Energy Plus (SEP) 2026,' co-hosted by Money Today and COEX and organized by the National Assembly Hydrogen Economy Forum, will be held at Hall B of COEX in Seoul Samsung-dong from the 28th to the 30th of next month.
This year's themes are "The Energy Daejeon Cycle in the AI (Artificial Intelligence) Era" and "Energy Security Amid Rapidly Changing International Conditions." LG Group, HD Hyundai Electric, Doosan Enerbility, Hyundai Rotem, Unison, the Army, Seoul City, and the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute will exhibit strategies for securing energy in the AI era. In addition, visitors can review the electric vehicle and hydrogen vehicle strategies of Hyundai Motor, as well as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and Polestar.
For the conference, high-ranking executives from Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Hyundai Motor, LG Electronics, POSCO Holdings, Bright Energy Partners, LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, SK On, OCI Power, and HD Hyundai Electric will take the stage, following an opening "Energy Policy Forum" by the Army. Additionally, events such as the K-Space Forum (28th), the K-Premier Deep Tech Festa (29th), and the Startup King of Kings Tournament (30th) are also scheduled.
