Korean Air has won a triple crown at the "2026 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards," hosted by the U.S. general daily USA Today.
The airline said Thursday that it took first place in three categories: Best Business & First Class, Best Inflight Food, and Best Cabin Crew. This marks the first time Korean Air has ranked No. 1 across all major airline-related voting categories simultaneously.
USA Today annually publishes rankings of the top 10 companies in fields such as airlines, airports, accommodations, and travel. The process involves general readers participating in online voting for candidates selected by a panel of experts.
Korean Air has continuously improved its seating and in-flight services in Business and First Class. The "Prestige Suite 2.0" applied to the business class features seats that recline fully flat at 180 degrees, along with an enhanced in-flight entertainment system. In-flight meals for premium classes have been revamped to focus on multi-course dining, while wine and beverage selections have been diversified.
In the inflight food category, menus that reinterpret Korean traditional cuisine in a modern style, as well as pre-order services, received high praise. The airline also offers a variety of snacks in economy class on long-haul routes.
In the cabin crew category, the airline was recognized for its customer-friendly service and systematic training programs. Ahead of its planned merger with Asiana Airlines in December, Korean Air is re-evaluating its overall cabin services and strengthening standardized safety and service training.
A Korean Air official said, "This award result is particularly meaningful as it reflects the direct choice of global readers." The official added, "We will continue to prioritize safety and customer service as our top values and strengthen our standing as a global airline."
