The fifth unit of the "Korean-made launch vehicle" Nuri will be launched at 12:25 p.m. on the 7th from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province.
Fuel and oxidizer filling operations are expected to begin around 9 a.m. on the day at the Naro Space Center launch pad.
Filling of kerosene, Nuri's fuel, is scheduled to start around 9:40 a.m. Filling of liquid oxygen, the oxidizer, will begin around 10:15 a.m. Each process is expected to take approximately 70 minutes.
Ten minutes before launch, at 12:25 p.m., Nuri will switch to automatic operation mode. This means that all subsequent processes will proceed automatically. After checking the status of the entire launch vehicle on its own, Nuri will ignite the engines and take off.
Ten seconds before launch, the onboard computer enters a "ready for liftoff" state. Four seconds before launch, the first-stage engine ignites, and once it reaches normal output, the launch vehicle's securing device is released, allowing the rocket to fly away.
If any abnormality is detected during automatic operation, the launch procedure will be immediately halted.
