The fan music communication space 'Pantry' by KT Genie Music has surpassed 15 million audio streams just 21 days after its release.
KT Genie Music announced on the 21st that the number of audio streams for artists with whom fans have formed connections on Pantry, a feature of the music platform Genie, has exceeded 15 million.
Pantry is a space where fans listen to music and cheer together for their favorite artists. Currently, fan communities of multiple artists, including PLEDIS, BTS (BTS), and NCT WISH, are participating.
The core feature is the 'Stream Party.' Anyone, whether an artist or a fan, can create a music listening room, and participants can listen to music together while chatting. Music listening records from Stream Parties are also reflected in the Genie Chart.
Fans can also participate in daily quests and chats. Activities on Pantry are recorded in individual 'My Scores' and are also reflected in the 'Artist Tree Score,' which aggregates fans' activity points.
Artists can also directly host an 'Official Stream Party' timed with the release of a new album. This is a method of communicating by listening to new songs simultaneously with fans.
