Actor Son Ji-chang (56) has shared an update on his ongoing operation of an event company for 26 years.
On the episode of KBS2's variety show "The Boss Has Donkey Ears" (abbreviated as "Sadangwi") aired on Sunday, it was revealed that Son Ji-chang, who is active in the event Gi Hoek-hoe-sa (CEO) industry, is set to join as a new boss.
In a preview for the episode scheduled to air on Nov. 1, Son introduced himself as "the representative of an event planning company that I have been running for 26 years."
In particular, Son drew attention when he answered regarding his company's peak annual revenue, stating, "At my best, it was around 6 billion won."
Despite being the company's representative, Son was a boss who led by example, personally handling both large and small tasks on site. He said, "I do most things myself. It just feels more comfortable that way."

The video captured Son personally picking up a bug that had fallen on the floor and manually moving heavy boxes containing supplies.
MC Park Myung-soo, who was watching from the studio, exclaimed in admiration, "The boss does everything himself."
Meanwhile, Son married actress Oh Yeon-su in 1998 and has two sons. Active as both a singer and an actor, Son performed alongside singer Kim Min-jong in the duo group "The Blue" and became known as a leading handsome star of his era through appearances in dramas such as "Walking to the Sky," "The Last Match," and "Truth."
Although he has not appeared in a drama for 22 years, he occasionally makes appearances on variety shows such as "Suga Man" and "Same Bed Different Dreams 2."
Regarding this, Son explained on "Same Bed Different Dreams 2," which he appeared on with his wife in 2023, that he had stopped his entertainment activities in place of Oh Yeon-su to raise their children.
