Actress Jin Jae-young, 49, shared an update on her recent status, revealing that she has been hospitalized due to a health problem.
Jin posted on her social media on Sunday, "After eating dinner as usual, I suddenly experienced a cramping pain in my chest and my stomach swelled as if it would burst. In just two days, I was transferred between three emergency rooms—an experience I will never want to go through again."
She continued, "I have been fasting for five days now, unable to drink even a single drop of water," adding, "I don't know when I will be able to go home yet, but thinking about it, everything seems to happen at its destined time. I am letting things flow and reaching the state of life's liberation."
She further added, "So, eating something delicious while watching TV on the weekend and laughing carelessly is the happiest thing in the world."
Jin said, "When my husband asked what I wanted to eat most, I told him pizza, so he promised to buy me 100 pizzas once I am discharged. At least I feel a bit better today, so I am sharing this news with you."
As fans' concerns continued, Jin Jae-young shared another update on the 2nd.
Jin said, "I am currently in Seoul. I came to Seoul last Tuesday for work, but suddenly went to the emergency room that evening and was immediately hospitalized. Moreover, my husband had been in Daegu for other business last week, but upon hearing the news, he was shocked and rushed to Seoul, leading to a tearful reunion."
She continued, "My car is still at Jeju Airport. It has been seven days of chaos," adding, "Thank you for your warm support."
Along with this, Jin shared a video of herself visiting the radiology department for an X-ray at 6 a.m., saying, "Thanks to such wonderful people, I was able to live an ordinary day. Thank you," expressing her gratitude to the medical staff.
Jin debuted as an advertising model in 1995 and has appeared in dramas such as "The Crown Prince's First Love" and "My Sweet City." She also became well-known through variety shows like "Same Bed Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny." She married pro golfer Jin Jung-sik, who is four years her junior, in 2010, and currently resides on Jeju Island.
