Former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun shared recent updates showing him with long hair and looking noticeably thinner.
TVING Sports posted a video titled "Chuno Appearing on TVING" on its social media platform on the 28th.
In the video, Hwang Jae-gyun appeared with his long hair swept back. Once boasting a sturdy physique of 183 cm and 96 kg during his playing days, he drew attention with a leaner look that made his facial features more defined than before.
Responding to comments comparing him to actor Jang Hyuk, Hwang Jae-gyun joked, "It's Chuno (the drama starring Jang Hyuk). I have to go beat up someone." When the production team asked how long he planned to grow his hair, he replied, "I'll grow it until it can be tied," adding, "I'll keep growing it until no comments tell me to cut it."
Hwang Jae-gyun joined the Hyundai Unicorns in 2006 and concluded his professional career after the 2025 season. He signed two free agent (FA) contracts in the KBO League, earning a total of 14.8 billion won over eight years.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jae-gyun married Ji-yeon, a former member of the group T-ARA, in 2022 but divorced in 2024.
