Actress Park So-dam cheerfully acknowledged reports that she resembles Choi Woo-sik, with whom she acted as siblings in the film 'Parasite'.
On the 13th, a press screening and press conference for the film 'Gyeongju Trip' were held at Seoul Songpa-gu Lotte Cinema World Tower. Director Kim Mi-jo and actors Lee Jung-eun, Gong Hyo-jin, Park So-dam, Lee Yeon, and Byun Yo-han attended the event.
Following her role in 'Parasite', Park So-dam took on the role of the second daughter again in 'Gyeongju Trip'. During the event, she was asked which co-star she had better chemistry with: Choi Woo-sik, who played her older brother in 'Parasite', or Gong Hyo-jin, who played her older sister in 'Gyeongju Trip'.
In response, Park So-dam said, "I don't want to admit it, but I look like my older brother Choi Woo-sik," drawing laughter from the audience.
She continued, "Choi Woo-sik usually speaks well, but whenever he comes to events like this, he struggles with wrapping things up, and I remember that. However, Gong Hyo-jin finishes what I couldn't. She has a leadership quality that my older brother lacks," she joked.
She added, "Thanks to this work, I've become the 'national second daughter' thanks to my sister's sense of responsibility and humor. I am truly grateful."
'Gyeongju Trip' is a family revenge drama about four women who embark on a journey that could be described as "killing" themselves after waiting eight years for their youngest daughter, named 'Gyeongju', who never returned from a school trip. The film will be released on the 26th.
