Regarding speculation that group DJ DOC's Lee Ha-neul had reconciled with Kim Chang-yeol, she clarified, "We have not yet reconciled."
On the 28th, while communicating with subscribers on her YouTube channel, Lee Ha-neul was asked the question, "Did you reconcile with Kim Chang-yeol over money?"
In response, Lee Ha-neul said, "When did I say I would be doing group activities with Chang-yeol?" and added, "I haven't spoken to Chang-yeol at all. We have not yet reconciled."
Previously, Lee Ha-neul announced that DJ DOC's new album would be released in November, leading some to speculate that she had reconciled with Kim Chang-yeol.
Lee Ha-neul reiterated her stance, saying, "I never said I would be doing activities with Chang-yeol." She continued, "Whether others reconcile or not, what does it matter? Whether we reconcile or not is something we will handle ourselves," she stated.
The conflict between Lee Ha-neul and Kim Chang-yeol erupted after Lee Ha-neul's younger brother, Lee Hyun-bae, passed away in 2021. At that time, Lee Ha-neul claimed that Kim Chang-yeol was responsible for her brother's financial difficulties after withdrawing from a business venture he had been pursuing with Lee Hyun-bae.
Later, in 2024, speculation of reconciliation arose when the three DJ DOC members—Lee Ha-neul, Kim Chang-yeol, and Jung Jae-yong—gathered together. However, at the end of last year, only Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong performed under the name DJ DOC, reigniting rumors of discord with Kim Chang-yeol.
